Job Title:

CNC Operator I Job Description We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator I to join our team on the 3rd Shift from Sunday to Thursday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM . In this role, you will operate manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. Responsibilities Operate manual machines including saws, mills, and lathes. Identify various material types used in the department and adjust equipment as needed. Recognize worn tooling and perform changes in the machine as required. Verify the accuracy of completed products or batch inspections. Report defective materials, discrepancies, or process malfunctions to the Department Lead. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following prescribed safety regulations. Complete all necessary paperwork, including in-process or carbon copy production sheets. Essential Skills Basic understanding of machining principles and CNC machine operations. Mechanical aptitude with a strong interest in CNC machining. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. Availability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts as required. Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with CNC, Lathe, Mill, Blueprint, Micrometer. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional high places, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate, requiring hearing protection in specific locations. Employees are frequently exposed to vibration. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Ossian, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00
