6am to 4:30pm Monday thru

Thursday Position Summary:

SetUp and operate machines considered simple to moderately complex, i.e.; screw machines, precision grinders, critical dimension machines, CNC machines, and dial index machines. Ability to set up machines through first piece inspection including writing programs if required. Proficient at troubleshooting various types of simple to moderately complex equipment. Able to make simple to moderately complex mechanical repairs. Maintain simple to moderately complex tooling. Can set up and operate variety of simple to moderately complex machines within department. Understands simple to moderately complex gaging and can verify its accuracy through 2nd method along with recommending gaging methods to determine part accuracy.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Qualifies and maintains quality set up. Develops, records and analyzes SPC charts and data. Perform preventative maintenance. Changes over machines as required. Troubleshoots equipment with minimal assistance. Determines corrective action on rejected material. Provides assistance and training to operators. Maintains safe and clean work environment Makes mechanical repairs considered moderately complex. Provides technical input to Management & Engineering Performs other duties that may be requested by set-up, supervisor, management Responsible for maintaining

Lot Control Education/Experience Required:

High school diploma or GED. Machine Tool Technology Degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years CNC operating experience. Should include knowledge of blueprint, knowledge of complex measuring systems, SPC analysis, providing work directions, and general programming of mechanical and electrical abilities.
