CNC Operator & Cabinet Assembly

Benjamin Paul Studio is a custom cabinetry, furniture and metal work studio in North Charleston, SC. Our vision is to Build Beautiful Spaces with every project we take on. Our team is hiring a CNC Operator to grow with us as we build a portfolio of projects that showcase our creativity and craftsmanship. The ideal Operator should be a skilled craftsman with experience operating and maintaining CNC machines as well as general carpentry skills. You will work closely with the design and fabrication teams to ensure project delivery in a consistent and timely manner. We take on exciting projects that include residential as well as commercial jobs which incorporate unique opportunities to use and develop skills constantly. The ideal candidate will:

Work with team members to develop a build plan Manage the timely production and assembly of all cabinetry Plan and execute assembly plans based on detailed drawings Be self sufficient with necessary tooling Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality Attention to detail and a critical eye Exposure to CAD, Fusion, Mozaik is an important bonus (we use Mozaik) Experience with CNC Operation and programming

Duties:

• Assemble cabinets according to instructions
• Record detailed site measurements and information
• Interpret schematics and blueprints accurately for fabrication
• Operate CNC machine, label and edge band product accurately
• Manage inventory of sheet goods and remnant material
• Manage all cabinet assembly elements including hinges, drawer boxes and shelves
• Fabricate stock parts

• Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints effectively and determine insufficient information
• Experience in an environment that promotes attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
