Production Reports To:
Production Manager Role Description We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe/Mill Operator to set up and run CNC machines, producing high-quality precision parts to print.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and G-code Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges Adjust offsets, tooling, and programs as needed Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards Follow safety guidelines and keep a clean work area Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or CNC certification preferred. 1-3 years of CNC machining experience (lathe and/or mill) Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T. Familiarity with common CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas). Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with tight-tolerance parts or aerospace/medical components. Understanding of tool wear and optimization strategies.
