Job Summary:

We is seeking a skilled Plasma CNC Operator to join our 2nd shift team. This position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC plasma cutting machines to fabricate precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC operation, blueprint reading, and metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting machines to cut metal parts per blueprints and specifications. Adjust machine settings, including speed, feed, and cut depth, to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper placement and securing of workpieces. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plasma cutting equipment. Conduct quality checks to ensure finished parts meet required tolerances. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and company policies. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

Previous experience operating CNC plasma cutters or similar CNC machinery is required.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read blueprints, use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures), and understand CNC programming basics.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment. Attention to

Strong ability to inspect and ensure precision in fabricated components.

Work Ethic:

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and G-code programming. Forklift and material handling experience.
