CNC Operator - Lathe or Mill Kenney Industries - 2.9 Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measurement-based inspection Blueprint specification interpretation Monitoring dimensions Dimensional measurements Precision measurement in machining Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable CNC Operator to operate either CNC Lathes or CNC Mills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading materials, monitoring machine operations, performing quality inspections, and ensuring parts meet customer specifications. Essential DutiesResponsibilities Operate CNC Lathe or CNC Mill machines according to production requirements. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts. Read and follow work instructions, setup sheets, and blueprints. Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment. Monitor machine performance and identify quality or production issues. Make basic tool offset adjustments as needed. Maintain production records and inspection documentation. Keep work area clean and organized following 5S and safety standards. Communicate production concerns to supervisors and setup technicians. Follow all company safety and quality procedures. Required Qualifications 1+ year of CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read measuring tools including calipers and micrometers. Basic blueprint reading skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating CNC Mills, Lathes, or both. Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or Okuma controls. Knowledge of GD&T and inspection procedures. Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, medical, or precision manufacturing environments. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise and coolant.
