Job Description
AeroLift Machine is seeking an experienced CNC Multi-Axis Operator to join our growing team. We are a high-production, precision machining facility serving the oilfield and aerospace industries, equipped with over 80 CNC machines in a climate-controlled environment. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist who can confidently operate multi-axis equipment, including complex mill/turn machines, maintain tight tolerances, and keep production moving with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Set up and operate dual spindle, dual live tooling turret machines efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions Monitor tool wear, offsets, and machine performance Make min or program edits at the machine as needed Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools Maintain part quality and hold tight tolerances Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend improvements Keep machines running efficiently to meet production goals Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures Qualifications 5+ years of CNC machining experience (multi-axis required) Hands-on experience operating dual spindle, dual turret (live tooling) machines Strong understanding of machining processes and cutting tools Ability to read complex prints and understand GD&T Experience with tight tolerance work (±.001 or better) Ability to edit G-code at the machine Experience with Haas, Doosan, Okuma, Miyano, or similar machines preferred Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred (Not Required) Experience with mill/turn or Swiss-type machines Background in oilfield Experience working in a high-production environment
