Full Job Description Position:
CNC Set Up Operator Location:
Richardson, TX Shifts:
1st Shift 7am-3pm 2nd Shift 3:30-
Midnight Overview:
Seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Operator to support our CNC Programming Team by preparing, configuring, and troubleshooting CNC machines for accurate, high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up Horizontal, Vertical, and 5-Axis CNC machines per production specs. Load and transfer programs, verify setups, and run pre-production checks. Troubleshoot setup issues to reduce downtime. Secure materials and ensure proper machine positioning. Monitor initial runs for accuracy and quality. Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience setting up CNC machines (Horizontal, Vertical, 5-Axis). Ability to read technical drawings and understand CNC programming. Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail. Works well independently and with a team. Flexible for limited OT and potential night shifts.
