CNC Machine Operator

Position:

CNC Machine Operator Job Description:

Operate various CNC machines that burn and drill or punch steel plate, shear and punch steel shapes, and load and unload material in inventory or work areas.

Preferred experience or degrees:

High school diploma, GED, Vo-Tech, trade school, one year previous experience operating or programming CNC machinery, or blueprint reading preferred.

Job Requirements:

Load and unload conveyors and tables with steel products using an overhead crane. Interface with machine using the operating system to load CNC files. Operate machines and use drawings to inspect parts to ensure products are made correctly. Mark products properly for distribution to shop work areas and customers. Walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting required 90% of the day. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. Must be a good communicator and able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions well.

Starting Pay:
