Job description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, welding, mechanical knowledge, tooling, forklift operation, assembly, precision measuring instruments, and blueprint reading. Duties Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with safety regulations Set up machines to start a production cycle Control and adjust machine settings as needed Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments and ensure quality standards are met Troubleshoot issues during production Perform basic maintenance on machinery Experience Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Proficiency using a computer is required Ability to read and interpret blueprints Familiarity with Vectis Cobot Welding Tool is a plus Experience with welding and assembly processes Competency in using precision measuring instruments for quality control Be able to lift safely and repetitively Qualifications 5+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication and processing. 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred. Strong knowledge of structural steel shop drawings and fabrication practices. Experience with CNC beam lines, plasma tables, and automated processing equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and erection drawings. Familiarity with AISC standards and industry quality requirements. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to use overhead cranes Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled shop environment. Work Environment Industrial structural steel fabrication facility. Exposure to noise, dust, welding operations, and heavy equipment.
