Job Description

Overview Mustang Seal Solutions is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for operating CNC milling machines to produce precision metal and polymer components that meet strict dimensional and quality requirements. The position requires strong machining fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to make at-machine adjustments to speeds, feeds, offsets, and tool wear to maintain process control and part quality.
Shift:
Day Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) This role supports production efficiency, quality standards, and safe operations within a precision manufacturing environment. Duties Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components. Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements . Make at-machine adjustments to speeds, feeds, offsets, and tool wear . Perform in-process inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments . Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust machine parameters to maintain part quality. Maintain machines, tooling, and work areas in accordance with shop standards and safety requirements. Support production flow including part handling, packaging, and documentation when required. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years machining metal components in a CNC environment. Ability to make offset, speed/feed, and tooling adjustments during production runs . Strong blueprint reading skills including GD&T . Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers . Basic math skills required for machining measurements and process adjustments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Preferred Experience Experience machining engineering plastics such as PEEK, nylon, PTFE, or similar materials . Experience working in a precision CNC manufacturing environment . Work Environment This position operates in a precision CNC machine shop environment focused on consistent quality, safe operations, and efficient production.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
