Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings. The CNC Machinist will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality production and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes. Duties Set up and operate CNC machines including CNC lathes and milling machines, primarily using Fanuc and Haas controls. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to ensure accurate machining. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to tooling and machine operation. Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for machining operations; adjust machine parameters as needed for optimal performance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment following safety protocols; operate hand tools, power tools and forklifts as required. Assist in assembly processes or other manufacturing tasks as needed. Requirements Proven experience with operation of CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. Strong knowledge of GD&T principles, blueprint reading, mechanical knowledge, and manufacturing processes. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations involved in machining tasks. Experience with Fanuc and Haas controls or similar CNC control systems preferred. Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and machine calibration. Mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills; ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
