In this role, you will set up and operate advanced CNC grinding and machining equipment to manufacture high-quality, custom PCD cutting tools to exact engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the machining process on the second shift, from initial setup and program loading to final inspection. This involves configuring CNC machines including tool grinders, EDM, and laser cutters by adjusting offsets and aligning fixtures for custom tool production. You will manufacture a variety of precision tools such as inserts and drills, performing rigorous in-process inspections using micrometers and microscopes to ensure every piece meets our strict dimensional and surface finish standards. Beyond production, you will handle routine maintenance and collaborate with the team to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

A technical degree or certificate in machining or manufacturing technology. Familiarity with CNC programming logic to assist with basic troubleshooting and adjustments.

Qualifications:
Proven experience operating CNC machinery, ideally within a precision machining or tool manufacturing environment.
The ability to accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency using manual inspection tools like micrometers, comparators, and gauges.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift between 25 to 50 lbs.
