In this role, you will operate CNC machinery and assist with the machining and assembly of components, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety are essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate machinery and equipment in a manufacturing facility.
  • Assemble components according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in machining or manufacturing preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and deburring tasks. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Stand and move around the shop floor for extended periods.
  • Lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform repetitive tasks with good manual dexterity.
  • Work safely in a manufacturing environment with PPE.
