Job Description
We are seeking Machine Operators who will primarily work on a variety of machines including, but not limited to, CNC lathes up to 4 axis, CNC mills up to 5 axis, and laser engraving. This position is based in King William Virginia, Monday through Thursday 7am-5pm. We are willing and able to train applicants from any skill level on any of our software/equipment if they have the drive and desire to learn. PayScale will be based on experience and willingness to learn. Job Duties and Responsibilities Operate/oversee machine production of products while maintaining adherence to the machine, chip management, coolant, and general shop safety rules. Inspection of parts and tooling to ensure that the products stay within their given tolerances during the entire run. Assist in finishing, cleaning, deburring, and packaging products. Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and work area throughout the day. Assist with routine machine maintenance and lubrication. Assist in our welding or anodizing departments when needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Reliable and able to follow instructions. Strong work ethic and ability to meet timed deadlines Focused and maintain attention to detail. Basic knowledge of hand tools. Valid driver's license. Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Must be legally able to be in a shop that works with firearms. Ability to lift and carry stock to and from the machines up to 50lbsPreferred:
Experience with manual and CNC mill or lathe operation. Knowledge of basic inspection tools (Calipers, micrometers, etc.). Familiarity with Haas, Mazak, and/or Trotech machines. Ability to read/interpret machinist dimensional prints. Knowledge of forklift operation. TIG Welding experience or certification Experience with deburring and part inspection.Job Types:
