Job Description

Machine Operator with CNC experience (2nd Shift) Tivoly, Inc.•Derby Line, VT Tivoly is a leading manufacturer committed to precision, innovation, and quality. We are currently seeking self-motivated and dependable Machine Operator to join our 2nd shift team.
Shift:
2nd Shift Monday-Friday (3:00 PM•11:00 PM), 75-day training period takes place on 1st shift Monday-Friday (7:00 AM•3:00 PM)
Pay:
Competitive base rate + $1.50•2nd shift differential once transferred to 2nd shift. The Ideal Candidate You should have a sharp eye for detail, strong math skills, and comfort working with fine dimensional tolerances. Because you will be making machine adjustments and changing grinding wheels, mechanical aptitude is essential. Experience with CNC machinery and metalworking is highly preferred. Responsibilities Operate production machinery— CNC flute grinders—in accordance with prints and specifications. Produce required quantities of parts within established high-precision tolerances. Measure finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure compliance with functional, quality, and cosmetic standards. Maintain accurate logs of units produced, including detailed records of any errors, or rejected pieces. Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic routine maintenance and CNC tool offsets/adjustments as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and abide by all OSHA and environmental regulations. Required Skills & Abilities Ability to follow directions, read prints, and learn specialized production equipment. Familiarity with CNC controls and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting or adjustments is a plus. Strong basic math skills for calculating tolerances and measurements. Strong analytical skills to address production inconsistencies. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. CNC machining or metalworking experience strongly preferred. General manufacturing or related work experience a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to work on your feet for prolonged periods, performing repetitive actions including frequent bending and stooping. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds. Visual acuity to read detailed instructions and inspect small components.
