CNC Router Operator - Custom Plastics Manufacturing Position Overview We're looking for a hands‑on CNC Router Operator to join our small plastics machining team. In this role, you'll be responsible for programming, setting up, and running CNC router equipment to produce made‑to‑order plastic components. If you enjoy precision work and a shop environment where every day brings a new custom job, this is a great fit. What You'll Do Create programs and operate CNC routers to manufacture custom plastic parts. Review technical drawings and convert them into accurate machining programs. Oversee cutting operations and verify that all parts meet quality and dimensional requirements. Maintain a tidy, well‑organized workstation and follow shop safety standards. Pitch in with general shop tasks as needed—this role involves flexibility and teamwork. Core Qualifications 1-2 years of CNC router experience (programming and/or machine operation preferred). Background in machining plastics is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot potential issues early. Able to work efficiently while meeting production timelines. Dependable attendance and consistent work habits. Preferred Skills Experience with Alfa CAM software. Comfortable operating routers such as KOMO or ONSRUD systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
