Position Description CNC operators will be provided with technical training to oversee the processing of CLT panels from one of our CNC Machine Centers. Operators, reporting to the CNC Supervisor, will be responsible for implementing best practices in the CNC manufacturing of CLT panels. This role will involve working alongside CNC operators and surrounding shop floor operators. This is an on-site position at our Spokane Valley, WA facility. Responsibilities New operators will be trained in best practices for CNC processing, the software that controls machine centers, reading shop drawings, operations and basic maintenance of machine centers, and hand-tools. Collaboration with QC, Safety, Production, and CNC departments to ensure a safe workplace environment to produce products that are accurate and in compliance with quality standards. Measure and assess finished panels to ensure that the product meets or exceeds design specifications and QAQC requirements. Maintain records for daily production, documenting downtime, recording daily QC verifications. Maintaining the cleanliness of one's assigned work center and surrounding area. Inspecting tooling and finished product to determine sharpening and replacement needs for machine centers. Ensure machinery is shut down at the end of each shift and cleaning is done, daily Following safety procedures, PPE requirements, and Lock Out Tag Out protocols Completing "Take 10" safety reviews before performing unfamiliar tasks Locating SDS information when working with chemicals Call the maintenance department when a machine fails to function normally, specify what the problem is so they can send the correct person Cleaning machinery, floors, tools, carts, and common areas daily Qualifications and Experience One year manufacturing experience preferred High school diploma or equivalent as required Basic computer skills including windows operating systems experience Effective organization and communication skills Basic math and ability to measure products. Ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders without assistance, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Salary & Benefits The hourly base pay range for this position is $21-26 USD and will be commensurate with education and experience.
