Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, and other machining equipment to produce parts according to specifications. Load and unload materials and ensure proper machine setup for production runs. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and notify appropriate personnel. Perform basic adjustments to machine offsets and tooling as needed to maintain quality standards. Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers. Conduct in-process inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain consistent production flow while operating 1-2 machines simultaneously. Document production activity, scrap, and quality checks accurately. Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on machines. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met. Assist with setup tasks or secondary operations as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience preferred (entry-level candidates with relevant training considered). Ability to read basic blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills, including working with decimals and measurements. Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and stand for extended periods. Willingness to learn and grow in a machining environment. Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting. Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Must be eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment.What We Offer:
