Job Description

STS Technical Services is hiring CNC Machine Operators for 2nd Shift in Brookfield, Wisconsin. If you know your way around machine tools, can hold tight tolerances, and want steady work in a clean, high-performance environment, this is a role worth your time.
This is not a stand-around-and-watch job. You'll be running machines, making adjustments, reading prints, and keeping production moving.
CNC Operator Job Overview
You will perform operation and setup of complex machined components across a range of industries, supporting production goals with precision and consistency.
Essential Job Duties Operate machine tools and perform offset adjustments to ensure parts meet print specifications using written setup instructions.
Perform repetitive machining tasks with consistency and attention to quality standards.
Read and interpret basic blueprints, correlating specifications with inspection protocols and documentation requirements.
Assist in the setup of machine tools under the guidance of experienced machinists.
Apply foundational knowledge of machining techniques and control functions to support production operations.
Run multiple machines simultaneously within a production cell to maximize throughput.
Utilize working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to support accurate part production.
Mentor and train operators on repetitive machining tasks to promote skill development and process consistency.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team and production goals. Qualifications A Highschool diploma/CNC technical diploma preferred
2+ years of machining experience
Proficiency in required measuring equipment for respective work performed
Solid math skills
A strong mechanical interest/aptitude
