CNC Mill Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Operator to work with our horizontal machining center. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in mill operations and be adept in utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate CNC mill (horizontal machining center) with precision and accuracy. Interpret and work from blueprints to execute machining tasks. Perform troubleshooting and change tooling as necessary. Conduct inspections using micrometers, calipers, and go/no-go gauges. Ensure high-quality standards are met through regular inspections. Essential Skills 3 years of mill experience. Proficiency in using CNC machines with Fanuc controls. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Experience with machining and inspection processes. Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to perform troubleshooting and change tooling. Work Environment Work in a job-shop environment during the 3rd shift from 10pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Friday. Although the current environment is not the cleanest, there are plans to relocate to a much newer facility. Employees are encouraged to wear safety shoes and prescription safety glasses, with reimbursement options available. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Butler, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
