Job Title:
Screw Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Screw Machine Operator to efficiently run and set up our screw machines. The role involves unloading/loading parts, performing inspections using precision measuring tools, and working from blueprints or drawings with specifications. The successful candidate will be able to operate multiple machines simultaneously and perform their duties in a robot cell structure. Responsibilities Set up screw machines independently, with varying set-ups from 3-4 times a day to 3-4 times a week. Unload and load parts, consistently lifting 15+ lbs throughout the shift. Conduct inspections on parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. Operate multiple machines simultaneously in a robot cell structure. Work from blueprints or drawings to meet specifications. Essential Skills Proficiency in screw machine operation. 1+ year of CNC experience. Capability to set up CNC machines independently. Familiarity with lathe and mill operations. Skill in using calipers, micrometers, and interpreting blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with running a screw machine is a plus but not mandatory. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled environment with shifts spanning Monday through Thursday.Shifts include:
1st shift from 6am to 2:30pm, 2nd shift from 2:15pm to 10:45pm, and 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday) from 10:30pm to 6:15am. Shift premiums include $1 for 2nd shift and $2 for 3rd shift. We offer three levels of CNC operator positions with competitive pay. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnson Creek, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
