La Crosse, WI CNC Machine Operator 2nd Shift — La Crosse, WI ABR Employment Services is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for the Secondary Department with a manufacturing client in La Crosse, WI. In this role, you'll operate and maintain CNC equipment to fabricate fiberglass pultruded products to customer specifications, while maintaining strong quality and safety standards.

Shift:
Monday-Friday, 2:45pm-11:00pm, $22-$24 What you'll do Operate and monitor a Holzer CNC machine to fabricate fiberglass pultruded products to specification Make CNC program adjustments as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy and production efficiency (no "from-scratch" programming) Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings Use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, and similar precision instruments) to verify dimensions Perform first-article inspections on new or changed profiles and complete in-process quality checks throughout production runs Complete quality documentation accurately and on time Fill out pick lists as orders are completed and verify order accuracy Package and palletize finished products to company standards and customer requirements Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe (including end-of-shift cleanup) Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements; handle fiberglass materials safely Support continuous improvement efforts and perform other duties as assigned What we're looking for
Required:
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong math skills and ability to measure accurately Experience using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools Detail-oriented with a strong quality focus Basic computer skills for documentation and machine adjustments Ability to follow work orders and detailed specifications Strong safety awareness and good communication skills
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous CNC experience Physical & work environment Standing/walking on concrete up to 8-12 hours per shift Frequent lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance Pushing/pulling carts/materials; bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, climbing steps/ladders, and reaching overhead Manufacturing environment with industrial machinery, noise, heat, and exposure to resins/fiberglass/solvents/dust/fumes and strong odors PPE required; respirator use may be required based on job duties and safety standards ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
