Immediate value add:
$4.00 shift premium. Your mission Own the complete CNC turning process—programming, setup, and production—so every part leaves the spindle meeting print, every time. Author clean, efficient programs in Mastercam or longhand G/M code. Engineer fixturing and setups that maximize accuracy and throughput. Set tools, align workpieces, establish offsets, and validate sequences. Calculate feeds/speeds and optimize cut parameters for quality and tool life. Run parts to print, measure with advanced inspection tools, and verify before inspection. Maintain equipment, change tooling, and stop machines to resolve issues fast. Contribute to BCT's culture and core values—share ideas, improve processes, elevate standards. As our business evolves, responsibilities may expand to match opportunity and demand. What success looks like Programs and setups that run safely, repeatedly, and efficiently. First-article approvals achieved with minimal iteration. Clear documentation that enables smooth production runs. Proactive maintenance preventing downtime. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 4+ years programming (Mastercam or longhand) and 4+ years setting up/operating CNC lathes and mills. Manufacturing experience; foundry familiarity is a bonus. Confident reading drawings and laying out features from prints. Self-motivated, organized, detail-attentive; proficient with computers. Machines and tech CNC Lathe (2-4 axis): Mazak, Haas; exposure to 5‑axis turning. CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC, Fanuc) and 5‑axis VMC (Fanuc). Mastercam for CAM; advanced inspection and gauging.
Core skills:
