Job Description

Are you a CNC Programmer looking for your next opportunity? Look no further. AtWork Personnel is currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmers to join our client s team in the Birmingham area. The right candidate will have experience programming CNC machines, creating accurate machine instructions, and improving production processes. This role is crucial in turning designs into high-quality products by efficiently setting up, maintaining, and operating CNC equipment. Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and specifications to prepare CNC machines for production.
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs with CAM software to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Perform test runs and adjust settings to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of CNC operations and program updates.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflows and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to solve machining or assembly issues.
  • Train and assist machine operators in operating and troubleshooting CNC equipment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ Years in Programming and 3+ In operating
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
  • Solid understanding of metal properties and CNC machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Diploma or certification in CNC programming, machining, or a related field.
