Job Responsibilities Individuals in this position will find setting up, programming, and operating CNC vertical mills and lathes to produce precision components according to drawing and work order requirements. An individual in this position will also be required to troubleshoot machining and programming issues in real time. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining documentation, setup sheets, and revision history for parts produced. An individual in this position will also be required to sustain product quality and consistency during production to achieve business goals.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in setup and programming CNC machines and CNC lathes. Proficiency with Master Cam programming software. Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code. Ability to select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job. Background in working with various metals and materials (aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, etc.) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T symbols and perform first-article inspections prior to submission to QA. Skilled in precision measurement and quality inspection tools. Excellent creative problem solving and improvisation. Great communication skills. Ability to assist team in problem solving machining issues or part quality. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Able to work independently after instructions form supervisor. Preferred Additional Skills /

Qualifications:

Experience with multi-axis CNC machines. Experience with Mazak machines and Fanuc Controls a large plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, bend, and reach for long period of time. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Proficient hand eye coordination. Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
