The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and the ability to operate various machinery and tools with precision that has programming experience. As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components that meet our stringent specifications. Must be available to work Monday through Friday 5am to 1:30pm and may require to work overtime when needed. Duties Set up, operate and maintain machining equipment including CNC, manual mills, saws, presses, drill and other equipment. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances of machined parts. Perform basic math calculations for measurements, offsets, and tool adjustments. Conduct routine maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting issues, making necessary repairs and programming. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency. Design and craft fixtures to improve volume and productivity where appropriate. Read, understand, and communicate blueprint detail. Skills Proficient in operating CNC machinery. Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques, including the use of various tools and equipment. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Experience with welding processes is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment is essential.
