Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer, where innovation meets precision! In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, programming, and optimizing CNC machining processes to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will drive efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and precision engineering. Key Responsibilities Design and develop CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and machining processes for aerospace and defense components. Analyze and define manufacturing methods and process flows for complex, tight-tolerance parts. Create and maintain method instructions / operation sheets , including setups, tooling lists, operation sequences, speeds and feeds, cycle time standards, and routings. Support RFQ activity , including estimating, manufacturability reviews, and process planning. Participate in design, manufacturing, and test documentation reviews to ensure compliance with contractual, program, design, and quality requirements. Assist with engineering analysis, customer requirement interpretation, and continuous improvement initiatives . Support production with troubleshooting, optimization, and new program launches. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, machining, or process engineering. Strong background in advanced machining (mills, lathes, multi-axis machining, grinding, etc.). Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T . Experience with CAD/CAM systems (Mastercam preferred). Solid computer and documentation skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred OR 5+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience with strong CAD/CAM programming background Work Environment Full-time, on-site role (not eligible for remote work) 10-hour shifts Not eligible for relocation reimbursement ITAR Requirement This position requires access to information and technology subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) .
