We're seeking an experienced Senior Lead CNC Programmer to join a cutting-edge aerospace and space manufacturing team in Alameda, California . Lead a skilled team while remaining hands-on with programming and process development. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of 6 CNC machinists. Oversee production across up to 4 CNC machining centers. Develop and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX CAM (Mastercam expertise is highly transferable). Program and troubleshoot Fanuc and Okuma controls. Drive continuous improvements in machining processes, quality, and efficiency. Manufacture complex, tight-tolerance components for aerospace and space applications. Support prototype development from concept through production. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to solve technical challenges. Experience with EDM is a plus, but not required. What We're Looking For Strong CNC programming and machining expertise. Experience leading or mentoring manufacturing teams. Proficiency with NX CAM or extensive Mastercam experience with the ability to transition. Hands-on experience with Fanuc and Okuma controls. Passion for precision manufacturing, innovation, and continuous improvement. Experience in aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-precision manufacturing environments is highly valued.
