In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing computer numerical control (CNC) programs that drive precision machining equipment. Your expertise will ensure that parts are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes and work with advanced machinery in a dynamic environment. Duties Develop and write CNC programs for various machines, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements and tooling specifications. Set up CNC machines by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and calibration procedures to ensure optimal operation. Conduct toolpath verification and simulation to prevent errors before production runs. Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and ensure compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot machining issues by analyzing program errors or machine malfunctions and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize processes, improve cycle times, and enhance product quality. Qualifications Proven experience in CNC programming for milling machines and lathes within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAM programming software and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for designing and modifying parts. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Knowledge of tooling selection, setup procedures, and machining best practices. Experience operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality inspection purposes. Familiarity with schematics related to CNC machinery and manufacturing processes. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machining issues efficiently.
