Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs that drive precision machining processes. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality components using CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, leveraging advanced CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions while working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment that values precision and efficiency. Duties Develop and write CNC programs for various machining operations using Fanuc controls and other machine-specific languages. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately translate design specifications into machine instructions. Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CATIA to create detailed part models and tooling layouts. Optimize machining processes through lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance productivity. Set up CNC machines—including mills and lathes—by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and calibration tools such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Perform precision measurements with accuracy using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot machining issues by analyzing schematics, electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes, and mechanical drawings to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tooling configurations, and process improvements for continuous enhancement of manufacturing operations. Experience Proven experience programming CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with Fanuc controls and familiarity with other control systems is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar platforms for designing parts and generating toolpaths. Knowledge of blueprint reading including GD&T principles to interpret complex schematics accurately. Mechanical knowledge of tooling setups, machining techniques, geometry calculations, and precision measurement instruments like bore gauges and micrometers. Understanding of lean manufacturing practices to streamline processes and reduce waste while maintaining high-quality standards. Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM), coordinate measuring machines (CMM), schematics, and manufacturing best practices is a plus. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team to meet tight deadlines while ensuring safety compliance. Join us as a CNC Programmer if you're passionate about precision engineering! Bring your technical expertise in machining processes combined with your problem-solving skills to produce components that meet the highest standards of quality. We value innovation, continuous improvement, and dedication—help us shape the future of manufacturing excellence!
