Mill Programming Location:
Irvine,CA We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong expertise in Esprit CAM software and mill programming to support precision machining and manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate has experience creating and optimizing CNC programs, supporting machining operations, and improving manufacturing efficiency within machine shop or aerospace manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes using Esprit CAM software Develop machining processes including: Part setup Fixturing Tool selection Machining strategy Speeds & feeds Order of operations Prepare setup sheets, tool lists, and machining documentation Support first article runs, process validation, and production startup activities Analyze and improve existing CNC programs to eliminate errors and improve efficiency Support operators with troubleshooting and machining process stabilization Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and machining documentation Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing goals
Required Qualifications:
✔ Experience with Esprit CAM programming software ✔ Strong experience with mill programming ✔ Knowledge of CNC programming principles, tooling, machining sequences, speeds, and feeds ✔ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation ✔ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills ✔ Experience supporting CNC machining operations in manufacturing or machine shop environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Trade school, Associate degree, or technical training preferred Experience with Mastercam or other CAM software preferred Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred Experience supporting first article and continuous improvement activities preferred
Pay:
