Job Description
CNC Programmer Lead Irvine, CA (Onsite Monday-Friday 6am -2:30pm) 6 Month Contract to Hire $45.00 - $60.00 hour W2 DOE Immediate hire. Successful candidate will read and interpret blueprints and solid models. Properly and safely load and unload raw materials in CNC machinery. Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Must be able to set up and program CNC swiss, lathes and milling machines without assistance. Must be self-sufficient. Will be responsible for reducing setup time and machining through process improvements. Understands, interprets and edits G-code programming. Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling. Will need to perform tool wear offsets. Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
Requirements:
Must have ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, blueprints, ISO 9001 Assembly Procedures, and any other documents related to product assembly or sub-assembly. Ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance. Must be self-sufficient. Hands on experience programming CNC machines. Experience with Swiss and other lathes and mills. Must have working experience with CNC Swiss Machining on multiple Axis. Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements Must be proficient with Haas controls. Understands, interprets and edits G-code programming. Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling. Understands and can perform tool wear offsets. Must know how to read and interpret blueprints and solid models. Ability to effectively communicate with superiors and other employees one-on-one, or in small group situations. High School education or Equivalent. Certificate (Trade school) Helpful. Minimum of 2 years' experience in mechanical or electrical assembly processes Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Job Type:
