This role plays a key part in supporting engineering, testing, and production needs through precision work and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Support daily machine shop operations and fabrication activities Set up and operate shop equipment including mills, lathes, drill presses, and saws Fabricate and modify parts to meet specifications Assist with assembly, part fitting, deburring, and rework Perform inspections to ensure quality standards are met Troubleshoot issues related to fabrication and assembly Maintain shop organization and cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles Ensure proper tool and equipment maintenance Follow all shop safety procedures and guidelines Required Qualifications Experience operating standard machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, saws, etc.) Hands-on experience with part fitting, deburring, assembly, and rework Knowledge of shop safety practices and equipment maintenance Familiarity with 5S principles and workplace organization Experience supporting prototype, test, or production hardware Preferred Qualifications CNC programming experience CNC machine operation experience #IND1
