The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming techniques, with a focus on precision and efficiency. This role is essential for producing high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. The CNC Programmer will collaborate closely with engineers and machinists to ensure optimal production processes. Duties Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations. Interpret technical drawings and specifications, applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles. Utilize software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create and modify designs. Conduct tooling selections and adjustments to enhance machining efficiency. Perform setup and calibration of CNC machines, including the use of bore gauges and micrometers for precise measurements. Monitor production processes, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to implement lean manufacturing practices. Troubleshoot programming issues and provide solutions to improve workflow. Requirements Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code). Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of machining processes. Experience with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Familiarity with GD&T, tooling selection, and measurement tools such as bore gauges and micrometers. Excellent mathematical skills, particularly in geometry, for accurate calculations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining setting is preferred but not required.
