  • Full-time Overview Join our innovative manufacturing team as a CNC Machining Programmer and play a pivotal role in transforming complex designs into precision-engineered parts.
In this energetic and dynamic position, you will develop, optimize, and implement CNC programs for a variety of machining centers, including CNC lathes and milling machines. Your expertise in CAD/CAM software and manufacturing processes will ensure high-quality production, efficiency, and adherence to strict specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technologies and contribute to precision manufacturing excellence. Duties Develop and write CNC programs using CAM software such as Mastercam or FutureCAM to produce detailed parts from technical drawings and schematics. Interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and schematics to ensure accurate machining processes. Set up and operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes equipment to produce components with tight tolerances. Utilize precision measuring instruments like bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions and quality. Collaborate with design engineers using CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for toolpath development and design validation. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize machining workflows, reduce waste, and improve productivity. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, tooling specifications, and inspection reports for traceability and continuous improvement. Requirements Proven experience programming CNC machinery including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent for designing and programming parts. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or similar CNC control systems for machine operation and troubleshooting. Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with GD&T annotations. Mechanical knowledge of tooling setups, geometry calculations, and the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Can help with set-ups on machines Excellent math skills related to geometry, measurements, and machine calibration procedures. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency in production workflows. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in ensuring high-quality output.
