The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating CNC machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes. Responsibilities
- Develop and write programs for CNC machines based on engineering blueprints
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, or grinding
- Conduct quality checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and bore gauges
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes
- Maintain tooling and equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Interpret CAD drawings and use software like SolidWorks, CATIA, and Fanuc controls
- Apply knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) for accurate machining
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operation
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
- Experience with CAD software and machine controls like Fanuc
- Familiarity with bore gauges, tooling maintenance, and GD&T principles
