This role is hands-on and highly technical, working directly from engineering drawings, 3D models, and written specifications to develop accurate, efficient CNC programs using Mastercam . You'll be programming for multi-axis machining (3, 4, and 5-axis) with a strong focus on 3+2 programming , while also supporting tooling and fixture development . The right person understands how to translate design into manufacturing — including cutting tool selection , applying GD&T , and ensuring accuracy using precision measuring instruments . This role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting design for manufacturability alongside engineering. Experience creating CAD models for fixtures/tools and developing machining processes for complex parts is highly valued. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of Mastercam programming experience and a strong background in multi-axis CNC programming who can get up to speed quickly. You should be comfortable interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T , have experience with fixture design , and be confident using precision measurement tools in a machining environment. Familiarity with Vericut and Mazatrol is a plus. This is a great opportunity for a true CNC programmer — not just setup or operation — who enjoys solving complex machining challenges and working closely with engineering in a production-driven environment.
