- CNC Programmer Shift 1st Hours 6:00am to 2:30pm Pay Range
- $38•$45
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the CNC Programmer is responsible for programming, setting up, and machining composite and metal components using multi-axis CNC equipment. This role includes developing and optimizing NC programs, troubleshooting machining issues, and ensuring parts are produced within tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities:
Develop, load, verify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam software Perform multi-axis programming on both mills and lathes Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce complex parts Machine components to precise tolerances and quality specifications Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and process instructions Analyze and troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program-related issues Coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules Perform routine machine shop duties, including setup, operation, and inspection Utilize precision measuring tools to ensure part accuracy and quality Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes and efficiency Maintain a safe and organized work environment Perform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge & Skills:
Strong experience with Mastercam programming Experience with multi-axis CNC machining (mills and lathes) Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of CNC machine setup, tooling, and operations Proficient with precision measuring instruments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Solid understanding of advanced math and trigonometry Familiarity with CNC programming systems and computer-based manufacturing tools Strong communication and teamwork skillsExperience & Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Trade School preferred Minimum of 5 years of CNC programming experience required Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing preferredPhysical Requirements:
Ability to safely work in a manufacturing environment Lift up to 40 lbs. independently or more with assistance Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move throughout the shift Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Good vision (corrective lenses acceptable)ITAR Requirement:
