LOOKING FOR SOMEONE PROFICIENT IN FUSION360 CAM
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Programmer/Machinist and become a vital part of creating precision-engineered components. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently and accurately. Your expertise in CAD/CAM software, and precision measurement will drive our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining technologies in a fast-paced, innovative environment dedicated to continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence. Duties Develop and write CNC programs using Fusion 360 Set up CNC milling machines and lathes, ensuring proper tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters are in place for optimal operation. Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure parts meet exact standards. Operate CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines Conduct precision measurements using tools like bore gauges, micrometers, calipers. Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, geometry, or machine performance; make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspection reports, and setup procedures to ensure traceability and compliance with quality standards. Requirements Proven experience programming and operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with Haas controls, CAM programming software, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for designing and programming parts. Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, GD&T principles, and geometric tolerances to produce precise components. Mechanical knowledge of tooling selection, electrical discharge machining (EDM), tooling setups, and machining processes. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), other gauges for quality assurance. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles aimed at reducing waste while increasing productivity. Excellent math skills including geometry calculations necessary for accurate machining operations. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and effectively. Knowledge of schematics related to electrical systems or mechanical drawings is a plus.
