CNC Programmer - Multi-Axis (4th Axis) General Metal Engraving South El Monte, CA Job Details Full-time $35 - $60 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications CNC programming Mastercam CNC G-code Programming Manufacturing CNC CAM programming Full Job Description General Metal Engraving is a family-owned manufacturer with more than 60 years of expertise in precision rotary die manufacturing. We provide high-quality, precision-engineered solutions for the medical, aerospace, electronics, and converting industries.
The Ideal Candidate:
Proficient in Mastercam and/or Fusion 360. Capable of programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines. Experience engraving with fourth axis is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Program CNC mills using Fusion 360 and/or Mastercam Program and optimize 4th-axis machining Create efficient toolpaths and machining strategies Design and improve fixtures and workholding Set up and prove out new jobs Troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes Work closely with engineering and production
Qualifications:
CNC programming experience required Multi-axis (4th-axis) programming experience preferred Fusion 360 and/or Mastercam experience Ability to independently program from engineering drawings Strong understanding of tooling, feeds & speeds, workholding, and GD&T Haas experience is a plus Rotary tooling experience is a plus but not required Compensation $35-60/hour DOE Full-time or part-time Flexible schedule for the right candidate Overtime available 401(k) To Apply Please send: Resume CAM software experience Multi-axis programming experience Machine controls you've programmed Full-time or part-time availability Desired hourly rate
