Client is offering salary increases twice a year. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

(REQUIRED

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

): 5 years of experience Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360). Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings, including GD&T symbols. Familiarity with various CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers) and their operational limits. Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges). Must be able to design cutting paths, tooling and tooling interface 5-axis on Mastercam and SolidWorks (CAD). Excellent mathematical skills (including geometry and trigonometry). Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Good written and verbal communication skills for documentation and teamwork. Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety protocols.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, test, and write CNC programs, using Mastercam to control machinery. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and design specifications to determine machining requirements, tool selection, and optimal machine settings. Create and modify programs for maximum efficiency, accuracy, and productivity, and make manual adjustments as needed. Monitor machine performance, conduct test runs, and troubleshoot problems during the manufacturing process. Set up CNC mills and ensure proper handling of tools and materials. Installing and adjusting tools and fixtures, and calibrating machine parameters for precision and accuracy. Conduct test runs (simulations) and initial part inspections to verify programs function correctly and products meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary. Choose appropriate cutting tools, materials, and workholding solutions (jigs, fixtures, vises) based on part requirements and material properties. Document processes, write clear setup sheets for machine operators, and collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure smooth production.
