We are a mid size office furniture and millwork company that provides products too all major US Corporations and Institutions. Our preferred candidate will being experience and computer in either Solidworks or master CAM. We are a growing Company and this position has strong upside opportunity. All interested parties are welcome to call Mike at 650-766-7031 Duties Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and manufacturing standards. Set up CNC machining tools on equipment such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixture installation. Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programming errors, or machine performance; implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to improve lean manufacturing processes and enhance overall machining efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in CNC programming for various machine types including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and 5-axis CNC equipment. Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks Extensive knowledge of CAM software for programming complex machining operations with precision measurement techniques. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and bore gauges for quality control. Strong math skills related to geometry, measurements, and programming calculations necessary for precise machining. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to streamline production workflows effectively.
