Swiss CNC Machinist responsible for programming, setting up, operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting CNC multi-axis lathes for close-tolerance machined components. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required 7+ years of experience programming and setting up Swiss CNC machines Experience programming, setting up, and running CNC multi-axis lathes Experience creating fixtures and tooling Experience machining metals, exotic metals, and plastics GD&T experience Close-tolerance machining experience Experience inspecting machined parts Experience interpreting engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches Experience determining machining processes, tooling, and programming requirements Experience troubleshooting machining issues Experience recommending tooling changes or improvements Preferred Skills SolidWorks experience CMM experience Experience with fixture design Experience with tooling design Experience machining complex precision components Experience performing first-piece, in-process, or final inspections Job Responsibilities Program CNC multi-axis lathes Set up Swiss CNC machines Run CNC multi-axis lathe production jobs Interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and sketches Determine machining processes for assigned parts Select tooling for machining operations Create CNC programs for production requirements Create fixtures and tooling as needed Machine parts from metals, exotic metals, and plastics Produce close-tolerance parts using GD&T requirements Inspect completed work to verify conformance to specifications Troubleshoot machine, programming, tooling, and process issues Recommend tooling changes or process improvements
