  • Full-time Job Overview This position is responsible for supporting daily machine operations through programming, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of CNC equipment.
This role works both on the production floor and in an office setting, serving as a key link between programming, maintenance, and operations. This position is intended to reduce bottlenecks within the engineering team by providing hands-on support, solving problems independently when possible, and assisting with ongoing projects. Responsibilities Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs Improve cycle times, tool paths, and overall machining efficiency Maintain and update existing programs to ensure consistency and reliability Diagnose and resolve machine issues when equipment goes down Provide real-time support to operators and maintenance teams Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions Work directly with machine operators to ensure programs run effectively Bridge communication between programming, maintenance, and production Translate technical programming into practical shop-floor solutions Assist with implementation of new processes, tooling, and equipment Support engineering and programming teams on continuous improvement efforts Contribute to standardization of processes and best practices Maintain clear and organized documentation of programs and changes Qualifications High school diploma or GED 3+ years' experience with CNC programming on FANUC controls Hands-on experience operating CNC machines Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills Comfortable working in the fabrication area or in the office Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience with Autodesk Fusion or similar Familiar with tooling, fixturing, and set up practices Compensation/Benefits/Shift $62,000
