Job Description

CNC Programmer, Designer & Welding Specialist - Family Owned seeking a leader to join the growing team and help transform innovative designs into high-quality finished product for Irrigation Pump Systems through expert CNC programming, precision fabrication, and superior welding craftsmanship. Position Summary CNC Programmer, Designer, and Welding Specialist to join our growing team The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing custom parts and products, creating CNC programs, operating fabrication equipment, and performing high-quality welding to support manufacturing and production operations. Key Responsibilities Design and develop fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications using CAD software. Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, cutting, and machining operations. Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and customer specifications. Set up and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure precision and efficiency. Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on various metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy are met. Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams to improve manufacturing processes. Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas in a safe and organized manner. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Assist with prototype development, custom fabrication, and process improvements. Qualifications Minimum 2 plus years of experience in CNC programming, machining, and welding. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar programs. Strong understanding of G-Code programming and CNC machine operations. Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Welding certifications are a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Preferred Skills Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or metalworking environments. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and machine shop operations. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Ability to train and mentor junior team members. Compensation & Benefits $30.00 to $40.00 per hour as per experience and Job History.
