Job Description

Our services include product and design, architectural support, custom and standard fabrication and power coat finishing. Position Overview The CNC Programmer is responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC mill programs to support efficient, high-quality production operations. Working closely with engineering and quality teams, this role translates technical drawings into precise machining instructions and continuously improves processes to meet production targets.
Work Hours:
7AM - 3:30PM, Monday through
Friday Compensation:
$25.00 - $36.00/hour DOE Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain CNC mill programs for production components using G-code and CAM software Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine machining requirements Establish machining parameters, feeds/speeds, fixtures, tooling, work holding setups, and tooling selections using best-practice principles for each job Verify program accuracy through virtual simulations and supervised test runs prior to full production Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues including tool wear, surface finish defects, and dimensional non-conformance Identify and implement cycle time reductions and process improvements Develop and maintain accurate production documentation including setup sheets, revision logs, fixture drawings, work instructions and inspection records Uphold quality standards and support first-article inspections as required Collaborate with machinists, engineers, operations and quality personnel to support continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or certificate in a related engineering discipline is preferred 2+ years of CNC programming and machine setup experience Proficiency in G-code programming and at least one CAM software platform Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and hardware templates Skilled use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM) Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is preferred Strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred Hands-on experience operating CNC machines or equivalent Experience with production processes such as cutting, turning, and milling. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tool Work Environment and Physical Requirements Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, coolant, and machinery Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally with assistance Use of required
