We manufacture high-quality custom cabinetry for residential and commercial clients all around Florida. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Programmer & Operator who focuses on custom cabinetry. This individual will be responsible for job layouts, 3D perspectives, and for programming, setting up, and operating our CNC. An ideal candidate would have experience using Mozaik software, although we are open to candidates with experience using similar programs such as Cabinet Vision, Pro100, etc. We need someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, a team player, and works well under pressure. This position is located at our shop in Tampa, FL. Although, some jobs will require travel throughout Florida while using company vehicles. We offer the following employee benefits: Health/Dental/Vision insurance (after 90 days) and Vacation/Holiday Pay (after 1 year). Starting salary negotiable. Long term salary based on performance. Responsibilities Set up the CNC machine including installing tooling, calibrating machines, and preparing workpieces for production. Operate CNC equipment efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime. Create layouts and 3D perspectives for clients and the shop Skills CNC computer programming such as Mozaik, Cabinet Vision, Pro100, etc. Basic understanding of cabinet components and assembly. Possess a foundational understanding of measurements and fractional units Proficiency in CNC programming languages such G-code with a strong understanding of CNC machine operations. Basic understanding of appliance specs and installation. Experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar for designing parts and creating schematics. Knowledge of CAM programming tools for generating tool paths from CAD models. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret schematics. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles aimed at reducing waste while increasing efficiency.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
