Job Description

Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled machinist with 10+ years of experience operating manual and CNC machines to produce precision components. This person is also expected to be a strong programmer and have experience in Master Cam. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience training and leading junior machinists is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, and other precision equipment.
  • Set up Master Cam
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feed rates for machining operations.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Compensation:
$75,000 to $100,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include:
  • We cover 75% of Medical, Dental, Vision
  • Anthem BCBS
  • Coverage is only for employee not a family package
  • It equates to $165 a paycheck or $330 a month at a $5K deductible
  • $250/Paycheck or $500/Month for $1,500 deductible
  • Dental $19/20 bucks a paycheck
  • Vision $3/Paycheck

    Experience:
    Minimum 8-10 years as a machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
    • Strong Master Cam coding experience
    Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.). ○ Specific experience with some of the below:
      Lathes:
      Okuma
      OSP P300
      Control Lathe, Mazak Lathe with Mazatrol Control
        Mills:
        Siemens Controls, Prototrak Mills (VM and SMX), Fadal Mill
        • Knowledge of different materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
        Blueprint Reading:
        Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
          Quality Control:
          Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
          Work Ethic:
          Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Previous teaching or training others on Mills/Lathes
