Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire ???? Join Our Growing Engineering & Manufacturing Team! We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and motivated Engineering / CNC Programming Technician to support our engineering and production operations. This is an exciting temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to grow their career in CNC programming and engineering support. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and releasing CNC programs according to production schedules while collaborating closely with Senior Engineers and shop floor teams to ensure smooth manufacturing flow. ???? Key Responsibilities Create, review, and release CNC programs based on daily production schedules Prepare CNC files, job packets, and supporting production documentation Review shop drawings, cut lists, layouts, and machining requirements before release Verify tooling, materials, grain direction, part orientation, and machining specifications Coordinate with Senior Engineers to resolve missing information and prioritize programming tasks Communicate effectively with production teams regarding program readiness and potential issues Maintain organized digital records, CNC files, and engineering documentation Support updates, revisions, and continuous improvement initiatives within the programming process Follow established engineering standards, release procedures, and file management protocols ? Required Qualifications Experience in CNC programming, CAD/CAM, manufacturing engineering, or related technical fields Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and manufacturing documentation Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable working with spreadsheets, job files, and scheduling systems Ability to manage priorities and meet production deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Organized, dependable, and adaptable in a production-driven environment ? Preferred Qualifications Experience in woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, casework, or panel processing industries Familiarity with CNC routers, panel saws, edgebanders, and nested-based manufacturing equipment Hands-on experience with software such as: AutoCAD Cabinet Vision Microvellum CutRite WoodWOP Other CAD/CAM platforms Understanding of tooling, machining operations, production workflow, and material handling
